On April 18th, the ceremony celebrating the inauguration of the QJGT’s Intelligent Manufacturing Base was held. The Intelligent Manufacturing Base of QJGT was formally established in September 2017. It is the phase 1 project of the transmission production base of 400,000 sets for medium and heavy vehicle. The base has a total investment of 540.48 million RMB, a floor area of 40696m², 183 sets of process equipment, 128 personnel and an annual output of 200,000 units of medium and heavy vehicle transmission. The Intelligent Manufacturing Base imports advanced process equipment in accordance with the intelligent manufacturing standards in order to optimize seven automatic production lines: hot front gear machining automatic line, automatic line for heat treatment, hot post gear machining automatic line, automatic line for shell machining and assembly automatic line. Intelligent manufacturing base has achieved intelligent and automatic production. At the same time, our base implements Risk Assessment (LEC) Method in order to prevent and control safety risks. Our works based on 4M elements analysis to establish a perfect system.

The management power of QJGT was transferred to Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Holding (group) Co., Ltd.(CME for short)

QJGT listed in Hong Kong with Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd.(CQME) as a whole.

QJGT completed share transfer and asset reorganization and Shanghai electric Group Co., Ltd has become a new strategic shareholder of QJGT.

The company’s quality system has passed the ISO9001:2000. The QJ805 and S6-90 transmission is honored as the “famous brand product of the national gear industry”. 4S-130GP won the first prize of excellent new products in gear industry; QJ806 and QJ1506 won the excellent product award as well. In the same year, the company was selected to be the 100 best auto parts supplier in China and ranked among the top 500 Chinese machinery companies.

Qijiang Gear Transmission Co.,Ltd (QJGT) was founded.

The QJ805 transmission has won the excellent new product of Chongqing and the second prize of the new product of the gear industry. On December 21st, the company passed the project acceptance to realize the automation of process design and management.

The QJ506 transmission, PR101 power take-off, PF60 power take-off and Rockwell axle gear have passed the appraisal by national experts at one time.

The company won the title of “Sichuan Civilized Unit” and became a key state enterprise.

The 115 kinds of self-made parts were identified by German ZF experts.

The company has grown into a large second-class backbone SOEs which produces all kinds of automobile transmission, bevel gear and steering knuckle.

We began to introduce the manufacturing technology of mechanical transmission series from ZF.

Qijiang Gear Works was subsidiary of CNHTC

Qijiang Gear Works was subsidiary of the Ministry of Machinery Industry.

Qijiang Gear Works was subsidiary of Chongqing Machinery Industry.

The Chongqing garrison of CPLA controlled over factory, and a revolutionary council of the Qijiang Gear Woks was set up.

Qijiang Gear Works was subsidiary of China National Auto Corp.

The factory was subsidiary of the mechanical bureau of industry of Sichuan.

The trial-produce of QJ370 has been successful.

Qijiang Gear Works was subsidiary of Chongqing Machinery Industry. In the same year, it successfully produced GAZ-63 transfer box and the truck with CJ10.

The factory was renamed Qijiang Auto Parts Factory that was subsidiary of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and became a national fixed-point factory of automobile gears.

The factory has produced the first batch of China’s automobile transmission.

The factory was renamed the Qijiang gear second production and distribution plant of the CPLA, and was subordinate to the Logistics Department of the Military Commission.

In February, the factory was renamed 502 Factory of Southwest Industrial Department, which is subordinate to Southwest Industrial Department of Machinery Industry Administration; in December, it was renamed Qijiang Auto Parts Factory, which is subordinate to the Logistics Department of Southwest Military Region.

On November 27th, Qijiang was emancipated, and the Chongqing Military Logistics takeover Committee of the CPLA took over the factory.

Part of the factory moved to Changsha, Hunan and some moved to Wanxian, Sichuan. In November 1939, the factory and all manufacturing branches were moved to Qijiang, Chongqing.

Qijiang Gear Works (QGW) was originally established in Nanjing.
